Vegetables
A two-hour walkthrough for larger gardens, more complex sites, or gardens with several different growing areas and conditions.
Rather than arriving with a predetermined solution, we begin by observing the system already there, how water moves, how the soil behaves, what plants and weeds are indicating, where organic matter accumulates, and where the garden appears to be struggling or thriving.
The additional time allows us to investigate multiple areas of the property, compare different conditions and explore problems in considerably more depth than the shorter walkthroughs.
Best suited to:
- larger residential gardens
- multiple garden beds or growing zones
- established gardens with several issues to investigate
- properties with noticeably different soil or drainage conditions
- people wanting to explore several questions during the same visit
What’s included:
120 minutes on site, discussion of observations as we move through the garden, practical recommendations and a deeper investigation of the conditions that can reasonably be assessed during the visit.
What’s not included:
Formal soil or laboratory testing, a written Living-System Assessment, detailed landscape design, amendment prescriptions or a Redox Garden Blueprint.
Where the garden requires investigation beyond what can reasonably be established during the walkthrough, we can identify the next level of assessment required.
